Case Study: Lumos Glasses

Project Title:

Driving Performance Marketing & Tracking Infrastructure in Health Tech

Context/Challenge:

Lumos Glasses, a science-backed wearable for circadian health, needed to rapidly scale digital marketing efforts and data infrastructure for a national brand launch. The task: translate complex health science into effective campaigns, strengthen paid acquisition, and level up marketing analytics—on a tight timeline and budget.

My Role:

As Growth, Data & Analytics Specialist, I worked closely with company leadership to lay the groundwork for performance marketing, analytics, and campaign feedback loops.

Actions Taken:

  1. Paid Ads Management: Launched, tracked, and analyzed paid campaigns across Google Ads and Reddit, optimizing for clicks and cost-effectiveness.

Results: 38,000 impressions and 1,050 clicks on Google Ads (CPC: $0.90)

Results: 328,565 impressions and 1,499 clicks on Reddit for CA$1,183 (CPC: $0.79)

Tools used: Canva & Photoshop

  • SEO & Content Optimization: Audited and refreshed keyword strategies using Semrush, updating on-site content targets for improved ad relevance and organic alignment.

  • Website Ownership: Updated and optimized content and structure via Webflow, improving alignment with branding and user experience goals based on feedback from the founder and marketing manager.

  • Data & Tracking Implementation: Independently set up Meta Pixel, Reddit Pixel, GA4, GTM, and Google Search Console, ensuring robust marketing analytics.

  • Reporting & Insights: Compiled and presented actionable performance reports covering paid media, SEO strategy, website metrics, and recommended optimizations for ongoing growth.

    Outcome & Impact

    Established a reliable marketing data foundation, increased ad visibility for initial product launch, and provided the Lumos team with critical insights and recommendations to guide their go-to-market strategy.
