Overview
When I joined Wishes and Blessings NGO, their digital presence was minimal and their website was not ranking for any high-impact keywords. My mandate: build a digital marketing foundation from scratch and drive measurable growth in visibility, engagement, and donor action.
Laying the Foundation
The first step was to establish robust digital analytics and tracking infrastructure. I set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console, ensuring all essential tags were implemented across the site. This provided the data backbone for all future digital marketing efforts, allowing us to measure, analyze, and optimize every campaign and content initiative.
SEO & Content Strategy
Recognizing the untapped potential of organic search, I led the NGO’s SEO overhaul. I conducted keyword research focused on high-intent, location-based terms such as “NGO in Delhi,” “NGO to donate in Delhi,” and “NGO to donate clothes/food to in Delhi.” Collaborating with writers and graphic designers, we produced over 100 SEO-optimized blogs and social media graphics designed to attract and engage our target audience.
Results:
Achieved first-page Google rankings for multiple high-traffic keywords relevant to donations and volunteering in Delhi.
Secured top-five positions in local SEO results, including “NGO near me” searches and Google-generated listicles.
Drove a significant increase in organic traffic, as evidenced by Google Search Console data (see screenshots below)


Paid Campaigns & Lead Generation
To further amplify our reach, I planned and executed paid advertising campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Using Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager, I managed end-to-end campaign setup, creative collaboration, and lead capture optimization.
Key Initiatives:
Developed lead generation forms and landing pages, capturing donor and volunteer interest directly through ads.
Coordinated with designers to ensure all creatives were compelling and on-brand.
Campaigns consistently generated high-quality leads, increased program participation, and drove direct donor engagement via phone and online forms.




Email Marketing & Donor Engagement
I implemented and managed Mailchimp for both ongoing and targeted email marketing:
Monthly Newsletters: Designed and distributed regular updates to donors and subscribers, keeping the community informed and engaged.
Automated Campaigns: Built segmented email journeys to nurture new leads, educate potential donors, and drive conversions for specific programs and fundraising drives.

100+ SEO-optimized blogs published, with many ranking on page one of Google for strategic keywords.
First-page and top-five local SEO rankings for high-intent donation and volunteering searches in Delhi.
